We decided to go for a walk after dinner. The temperature was a cooler 26C and the light just starting to fade.

To the left of this photo, just out of shot, is the river. All along the grassed area people were picnicking.
As the sun went down and the evening got darker the waterside buildings were flood lit.

The reflection is in the “water mirror” between the road and the river. The water is 2cm deep.

Porte de la Lune.

The water mirror again. Now the water is replaced by mist.

We started this morning by the parade ground with these two statues so we end with them.
We depart Bordeaux tomorrow Tuesday at 10am on the morning tide and should reach the Bay of Biscay around 4pm or 5pm local time. We then travel to Cadiz which we reach on Friday.
It is now 10pm local time (9pm in the UK) and the temperature 24C.
